General Practitioner

The General Practitioner Clinic comprise of doctors who treat acute and chronic illnesses and provide preventive care and health education to patients. There is a team of three (3) experienced general practitioner Doctors. The service run seven (7) day a week as an outpatient service from 07:30am -09:00pm.

General practitioners (GPs) at legacy clinics treat and diagnose many types of illness that manifest in a number of ways at early stage of development which may require urgent intervention .The holistic approach of practice aims to take into consideration of biological, physiologic and social factors relevant to the care of each patient’s illness. Treatment and diagnosis includes the following :

• General internal medicine
• General pediatrics
• Respiratory Disorders, Skin Disorders, Malaria
• Genitor-urinary Disorders (including gynecological and renal disorders)
• Musculoskeletal disorders, Gastrointestinal
• Cardiovascular, Injuries and Accident
• Endocrine and metabolic disorders, Eye and Ear Disorders
• Neurological disorders, Psychiatric disorders, Febrile Illness
• Obstetric disorders, Haematological disorders
• Vaccination, Antenatal check
• Family planning, Pregnancy tests
• Pap smear

All the above services are supported by medical technologies, including ; Computed tomography (CT scan), Ultrasound, Mammography digital, General digital X-Ray, OPG & CBCT digital, BMD, Echocardiography (Heart Ultrasound), ECG, TMT and full laboratory facility in treatment and diagnosis of the patients at legacy clinics
