Nursing Unit

The Nursing Unit supports all the above Clinics. At team of 19 Nurses are on standby to provide turnaround support to Doctors during the consultation and treatment process of the patients. The Nurse unit runs 7days a week from 07:00am – 09:00pm

They passionately work to maintain the high quality and standards of medical services. Our professional trained nurses integrated with high skilled customer care team facilitate in patient orientation and guidance. Nurses also handle emergency cases . In handling emergencies, Nurses use an Emergency Trolley, which is a set-box comprised of all the first-aid equipment that is essential for saving life. The Ambulance Services are also manned by the Nursing Team.

Within the structure and confines of Legacy Clinics & Diagnostics, Nurses work at two stations. Nurses at Station One on ground floor deals with cases of : Vaccinations, pediatrics, Cardiology, Dermatology, Neurology and physiotherapy.
And at station two on first floor Nurses deal with the cases of Internal Medicine, Gynaecology, General medicine, Ears Nose Throat (ENT), Chiropractic, Urology and all sorts of emergences.

The Nursing unit also operates the Minor Surgery Room where quick surgeries are executed strictly on a daycare basis using the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

The uniqueness of Legacy Nursing team lies in the rich experience of the personnel and speed at which they offer services. Nurses at Legacy are able to support all Doctors with minimal supervision.

The capacity and competitiveness of Nurses are enhanced through Continuous Professional Courses (CPC) and On-Job trainings in Basic Life Support (BLF) and Advanced Life Support (ALF). These and more are embedded in the Annual Training Plan that is designed to ensure that Nurses’ skills and competences are regularly updated.
